We spotted a news item on Yahoo about Pizza being delivered by R/C as an experiment recently, and this follows on the back of news we read about Yo Sushi! trialling AR.Drone 2.0 delivered Japanese food in the week.

Of course, for now, these are just elaborate PR stunts, but multi-rotor helicopters, with their impressive load carrying abilities can be used for such tasks.

Let’s just hope the pilot knows the best landings spot in your front garden!

The last group was a tough one to call with names like Stuart Mott, Rob Turnball, Jonathan Bosnion, Dave Fisher all battling it out for a spot in the final 16 that will battle it out tomorrow.

The top 2 from each group goes through to the final 16.

We are awaiting the results and expect an update at around 9pm

Taking place on 26th & 27th May, Zone 2013 will be one of the main attractions featuring at the 2013 International RC Air Show in Yeovilton, Somerset. The Fleet air arm museum is well known when it comes to organising large scale events. Twice a year the museum is host to one of the South West’s largest model shows which attract 2000+ model enthusiasts and traders such as Airfix. Fleet Air Arm Museum is also the host of the huge Yeovilton Air Day attracting over 25,000+ visitors to see spectacular aircraft such as the Avro Vulcan and the world famous Red Arrows in show stopping displays.

The International RC Air Show will showcase some of the finest radio control talent from around the world including large scale jets and fully aerobatic 3D aircraft as well as the Zone Rc Helicopter Elimination Competition which is set to be the most brutal to date. The main flightline will be located just outside Hall 2 with optional outdoor viewing area and also there is an indoor glass ball viewing area. Companies from around the world we be attending and taking to the four large halls where they will showcase and demonstrate all of their latest products for all to see and purchase.
